Colonel Jeffrey Garrett of Civil Air Patrol’s Georgia Wing has taken command of the organization’s Southeast Region.

The championship went to Dr. Cesáreo Rosa Nieves Cadet Squadron (PR-123) team, holding the trophy from the previous competition. The 2nd place was taken by Lt Col Elsa M. Soto-Torres Cadet Squadron (PR-094) and 3rd place to Bayamon Cadet Squadron (PR-131).
Meet Mrs. Digna Rivera, she is a professor at Luis Felipe Crespo High School in Camuy, Puerto Rico and one of many Civil Air Patrol's Aerospace Education Member.
Five of our Cadets were given the opportunity to fly.
During the weekend of April 23-25, 2021, a total of 16 cadets were graduated from the Southeast Region Cadet Honor Academy hosted by the Puerto Rico Wing in a blended format, which included a virtual day with two additional days of in-person training at the facilities of the Muñiz Air National Guard Base in Carolina, Puerto Rico.
On April 17, 2021, units from across Puerto Rico Wing were awarded for outstanding performance in Cadet Programs and Aerospace Education during a ceremony celebrated at Muñiz Air National Guard Base in Carolina, Puerto Rico.
Cadet Colonel Ian J. Gonzalez became the first male recipient of the Spaatz award (#2282) in Aguadilla Cadet Squadron on July 5,2020.
Cadet Colonel Carlos Muñoz is the newest Puerto Rico Wing cadet recipient of the Spaatz Award, #2288, the highest milestone of the CAP Cadet Program, making history as the first cadet male to achieve such distinction in Muñiz ANG Cadet Squadron (SER-PR-126) after he completed all requirements on July 26, 2020.
